The CRM Data Explorer provides a window into your CRM data, from several view points:

 

Field Explorer

Allows you to dive deep into the layout of your entity forms to see if the data and the forms match.

You can select the Entity, the View and the Entity Form:

Then perform an analysis of the results to help you better understand the relationship between your forms and data:

Displays a list of fields found within a specified entity and includes the following information:

  • Display name
  • Field logical name
  • Records found
  • Percent filled by data
  • Tab and section location within the form
  • Is the field custom
  • Field type
  • Requirement level
  • Is the field searchable within Advanced Find

 

You can filter the results by changing the following settings:

The display filters allow you to see:

  • All attributes
  • Custom attributes
  • Standard attributes

as well as:

  • All attributes
  • Attributes found on the form
  • Attributes NOT found on the form

 

Additional data analysis tools are available:

Entity Explorer

Displays a list of entities found within your CRM organization and includes the following information:

  • Display name
  • Entity logical name
  • Is the entity custom
  • Total number of records
  • Number of active and inactive records
  • Entity ID
  • Language code

 

Common Features Between Explorers

  • Any Explorer list can be exported to Microsoft Excel
  • The Field and Web Resource Explorer lists allow you to edit certain fields
  • You can create a dependency for any record in any explorer that shows where that object is being referenced

 

Pricing

The CRM Data Explorer is licensed for a single CRM organization and has two license types:

 

Annual license ( $495 )

Includes maintenance, upgrades, and support for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

Perpetual license ( $895 )

Includes maintenance, upgrades, and support for the life of the product.

 

Evaluation Version

You may download a fully-functional trial version, here.  The only restriction is that it will only perform analysis of the Account entity.
